Music & Worship Ministry
The choirs at OGFBC support all phases of our mission statement to be Christ-Centered, Family-Focused, and Mission-Minded and exist for several reasons:
- To bring glory to God through music
- Create a worshipful experience for believers
- Blend traditional and contemporary music styles
- Build up the body of Christ
The Adult Choir is comprised of a variety of ages from our Senior Adults to College and Career. As a group of believers, singing together, we help facilitate the worship portion of our service in advance of the preached word. We meet each Sunday afternoon at 5:00 pm in the Sanctuary for practice. In addition to preparing a song for the morning worship services throughout the year, we also work on special song services with dramas for Christmas, Easter and the Patriotic seasons.
We invite you to become a part of the choir as we worship and praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Children’s Choir is comprised of children from K5 through 5th grades and Preschool Choir is comprised of children 3 to 4 years of age. We meet each Sunday night following our song service at 7:00 pm. Our goal is to make singing fun by learning Bible verses in song, sign language and other creative ways to relate to your child and point them to Christ. Musical dramas and Vacation Bible School music along with other activities reinforce the idea that God desires the praises of His people and that includes our Children.
